Q11. Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? In order for business leaders to be successful, they need to be skilled at negotiating. Give specific reasons or examples to support your opinion.

I agreed that in order for business leaders to be successful, they need to be skilled at negotiating. The reason why I agree is the famous leader like Steven Paul Jobs has skill at negotiating. He made the Apple world biggest company. Also, when they hire employees, negotiation is necessary. Therefore, I agree that in order for business leaders to be successful, they need to be skilled at negotiating.

I agreed that in order for business leaders to be successful, they need to be skilled at negotiating. First of all, negotiation is necessary when hiring employees. You have to negotiate employees' salaries to get the employees you want at the price you can afford.

Also, being a good negotiator is important for the success of the company. Business leaders need to be good negotiators to make deals. If you can make good deals that benefit your company, your company will make a profit.

Therefore, I agree that in order for business leaders to be successful, they need to be skilled at negotiating.

※ afford : 여유가 되다

[ Tip ]

First of all, Most of all, It's because 등이 있다.

  1. S + can + V
  2. It is + 형용사 + to + V
  3. There are + N

※ papers 는 신문을 뜻하므로, 종이를 애기할 때a piece of paper 이 올바른 표현이다. 같이 있는 여러 명을 얘기할 때에는 each other / one another을 쓰는 것이 좋다.

I think this picture was taken in an office. There are three people in this picture. On the left side of the picture, the woman who is wearing white pants is reading something like a manual. On the right side of the picture, there are two women in front of printer. They are talking to each other. It seems like they are busy in working.

I think this picture was taken in an office. There are three people in this picture. Two of the women are talking to each other. The woman on the right is using a copy machine and she is wearing a white shirt. The woman on the left has a piece of paper in each hand. On the left side of the picture, another woman is reading something. She is facing a cabinet. It seems like they are coworkers.

I think this picture was taken in the street. In front of the picture, some clothes are hanging.(?) On right side of the picture, there are two men. I think they are trying to put the clothes in the taxi. In the behind of them, there are some yellow taxies. In front of this picture, the doors of the taxi are open. In the background of the picture, I can see a red bus. It seems like the street is noisy.

  • On the street :
  • Using a luggage carrier : 짐수레를 사용하는
  • Some items are hanging : 물건들이 걸려 있다.
  • Put some items in the trunk : 물건들을 트렁크에 넣다.
  • doors are open : 문이 열려 있다.
  • a red bus : 빨간 버스

This is a picture taken on the street. The first thing I can see is a human using a luggage carrier. Some items are hanging inside the carrier. On the right side of the picture, there is another man in a black suit. I think he is trying to put some items in the trunk of a taxi. The doors of the taxi are open.

In the background of the picture, I can see a red bus. It seems like the bus is for a city tour.

[ Tip ]

Q5-7. Imagine that a music distribution company is conducting research in your country. You have agreed to participate in a telephone interview about buying music.

Q5. Do you purchase music often? Why or why not?

I purchase music often because I like listening to (new) music.

Q6. When was the last time you purchased music, and what did you buy?

The last time I purchased music was last month, and I bought some K-pop music from Apple music app.

Q7. When buying music, do you prefer to buy CDs, or do you prefer to download music directly to your computer or phone? Why?

I prefer to download music directly to my phone. It is because I can buy music at a cheaper price. To buy CDs for listening music is expensive. Also, I can save time if I download directly.  Last reason is, to download music directly to my phone is very convenient. Therefore, I prefer to download music directly to my phone.

Q11. What is the best way for a company to improve its sales? Choose ONE of the options provided below, and give reasons or examples to support your opinion.

  • By introducing a new product
  • By improving its customer service
  • By launching an advertising campaign

I think the best way for a company to improve its sales is improving its customer service. First of all, I saw the news that the company 'Samsung' shows improving its sales by improving its customer service. Second, the customer service is very important factor in the marketing. Because, the customer service evaluations are conducted every year. For this reason, I think improving its customer service is the best way for a company to improve its sales.

I think improving its customer service is the best way for a company to improve its sales, because if a company has good customer service, customers will keep buying products from them.

For example, about two years ago, I bought a smart phone. But, I accidently dropped it in the water just two days after I bought it. Fortunately, the store I bought it from had great customer service. A representative fixed the phone free, which really impressed me. So, when I recently bought a new smart phone, I bought a phone from the same store.

For this reason, I think improving its customer service is the best way for a company to improve its sales.
